Give it a Try Whispered the Heart

"It's was worth it," said me.
When pride holds us back, when our experiences remind us of the pain, and when it doesn't make sense for us to keep trying ...  That's when our heart whispers the truth.  That's when self love begins to take hold - from the tiniest, deepest place within ourselves.

That's our chance to allow that nudge we feel the universe offering...and to go with it.  To love, respect, and trust ourselves just enough to begin the journey on the road less traveled by.

And what we want really is just beyond the fear that has been holding us back.  We learn that fear was placed in our path so long ago and nurtured very well over the years.  All we need to do is believe in ourselves and know our own heart and soul in order to take that first step.  Knowing that we are not who our developing brains were told we were so many years ago - and that who we are is so much more wonderful - more beautiful is what makes that step possible.

Beneath that fear, control, projection, and confusion is YOU.  And you really can click your Ruby Red Slippers, and return - finally, to yourself - where you can begin to rewrite your life.  You are free to live and let live, having the life you want to have.

This is finally happening for me and if I can get this.... You can too :)

The Gated Soul said...

This was written just on the brink of confronting the borderline in my family. You can see here the extent to which I turned myself inside out for her ... calling her here to understanding and accountability. It fell on blind eyes and deaf ears as all efforts in the past three years to reach the soul of this person. Just around the corner from this the person made what she called a public announcement. All immediate family members could go to hell. Seems Since I was one of two she had left - there was a 50 percent chance that it was directed at me. Even if it wasn't, that announcement was the last straw. I'm working diligently for 8 solid months since her splitting episode (which offended and scared me to death) to reach her for some kind of accountability and reasoning - and she's sending out public A Bombs. The behavior of borderlines never makes sense. And more often than not injures ... either them or others.
