It's the Wonder of the Journey that Intoxicates me

One of those gifts that were locked up in that cage.  Imagine the imagery and drink in the quench as the one who walks alone on this lovely path.

It doesn't even matter where the path is leading.  It's the wonder of the journey that intoxicates me.

It really is intoxication, oxytocin, whichever you like to call it that nourishes our souls, and such a day I think does exactly that.

I am intoxicated by realness, color, abundance, sharing, caring and kindness, love - such real love, and now.  Finally I am in love with right now -  this very second.

Life.  It's always a good thing.

This is where the damaged heart resides.

This is how it feels to have been so broken that the only way to exist is to keep one's most inner self locked away - so far away that it just cannot be reached.

This is where tons of gifts and opportunities lie dormant.

This is life sometimes for the severely damaged person.  The best part of them is locked away for safekeeping.

One can even see the key but it is of no use until they learn to open the door.  The most difficult part of healing I suppose - opening that door.

Every single heart that manages it's way out, still leaves that door open and the key there for safekeeping.

This is where the damaged heart resides

Here's to Taking the Best care of Ourselves and that Precious Inner Child

So incredibly important  "Reclaiming and Healing your Inner Child.... and Evolving to your best You"
“When caretakers are untrustworthy, children develop a deep sense of distrust. The world seems a dangerous, hostile, unpredictable place. So, the child must always be on guard. He comes to believe, ‘If I control everything or be better than good, then no one can catch me off guard and hurt me.”’
Homecoming: Reclaiming and Healing Your Inner Child by John Bradshaw
Whether a small child, young adult, or even to 36 years old, in the presence of still abusive loved ones I was left open for any innocent kindness to be rewarded with unexpected punishment.... Having a choice to choose yourself finally is a great thing  Here's to taking the best care of ourselves and that precious inner child xx

Hate Bombed by Narcissist!! Jeesh don't these people have Lives............

The Narcs win .... I'm outa Here!!
I mean really.  Who's got time to successfully hate bomb a blog?  Especially a "person" in his early 30's...

Shouldn't he be working nonstop to support a family?  Or working and continuing his education?  Or enjoying life and his family and working for a promising future and retirement one day?

Gotta hand it to the lazy guy, he's got determination!!  If he only put all of that into legitimate work and living, he could be a success.

Goes to show you how far a narcissist will go to relieve narcissistic injury.

So much for my announcement that I never delete negative comments.  I ended up deleting the whole blog and removing myself from google plus just to avoid the negativity anywhere near my vision path.

It's great to get opposite views and even negative comments once in a while in order that everyone can learn even more, but this is different. These "people" are toxic.

Poison, toxicity, evil, hate, and all negativity to that degree isn't allowed in my circle. I'd like to be able to enable the comments on this blog and have the negative comment here and there for us all to learn from, but this was different.

People's opposing views and even anger once in a while is not toxic. But once a narc thinks he/she has reason to avenge a narcissistic injury - wow - he will turn himself inside out to destroy whatever you value.

Their best weapon is their affinity for lying.  They mix truths, half-truths, and total lies unil heads are spinning.  You find yourself wondering if it's actually true?  Could some of it be?  Crazymanking!!

As soon as I changed things and got rid of him - that very moment - I felt my peace expand and settle softly again.

With a Hop Skip and a Jump... Moving Forward: After this quote what else is there to say.

Only ...
: After this quote what else is there to say. Only that even in times of great progress and awareness, something can trigger the ego.

I am my soul, my inner child, peace, awareness, and love because by some miracle my heart is not black - or void.  It is bigger and brighter than ever before and for that I am thankful.

Self Respect and Self Love ... No Other Way

After this quote what else is there to say.

Only that even in times of great progress and awareness, something can trigger the ego to take the lead and express feelings in a way that the abusers would do.  Most of these left over feelings you thought were resolved and laid to rest.

I have to remember that my feelings aren't me.  What abusers did and said wasn't to me per se' - it was to my ego - the part that gets hurt.  Kind of like with narcissists (the narcissistic injury) which makes them attack (only they lie).

When I led with kindness only for others and non love and disrespect for myself, my life outside of my  husband and children was a great challenge.

It was like I was bait for narcissists.  They circled me like sharks - and I was attracted to them because their personality type was so familiar with my "mother" being a narcissist and father a borderline.  When they approved of me I was validated.  And like with the program, I didn't expect respect from them.  You really do teach people how to treat you.

Now, I would place boundaries and show self respect on the first meeting which would send them running immediately for another source of narcissistic supply.

It's good living life without walking on eggshells, backtracking lies, and defending yourself.  Leading with a shield you could have described me then as defensive in one word.  It is a great relief and holiday I might add, gliding now through life without a shield.

So the last thing I ever was was controlling, but I discovered that we must be controlling of ourselves and our reactions.  I must remind myself that what has happened in the past wasn't personal.  To be personal, they would have had to destroy my very soul.  That space belongs to me.  And is me.

I am my soul, my inner child, peace, awareness, and love because by some miracle my heart is not black - or void.  It is bigger and brighter than ever before and for that I am thankful.
