You will Dance again.... And your Little dog Too!!

That's right.  And your little dog, too!!  Funny how that film The Wizard of Oz has just kind of resonated with this blogspot theme.

I've mentioned several times that at any age, we can just click those heels of the ruby red slippers to find our way back to life - And now we have no matter the storms, you will dance again.  And your little dog, too. lol...  Just somehow seems perfect.

I think I am dancing again now.  I am feeling only this week the impact of the recent 75 pound weight loss.  Even though there are a hundred more to go, I am feeling the freedom now.

This is the part in major weight loss where you begin to cross your legs again.  You think to yourself, "Goodness, how long has it been"...  It's time to walk more now.  With the weather becoming so nice and this little boost, physically, I can do it.

I'm reading Carla Golden's The Healer's Diet.  It is telling me how to live to become healthy and contented.  How to eat and how to care for myself in every way.  It's just an incredible read.  I am incorporating a lot from this work into my journey.

Letting go was a biggie.  I let go of my entire family of origin - and all the co-dependency, there of.  I keep in touch with my little sister, but don't feel the need to obsessively try reaching her on any deeper level than that which shows her I still care.  I don't find myself looking for her answers.  I am giving her the space and time she needs to find her own way.  I have hope and faith that she will.  It's important to trust that somehow someway in her own way, on her own journey, she will come to her healing.

I do dance now.  And my little rabbit too...lol...  You all know I'm so in love with my house rabbit, Dustie.  He just fills me daily with feelings of happiness.  I must pick him up ten or twelve times a day.  He's my little buddy.  When the weather is cold, I will take him out with me in the car - to the stores, for car rides, to hospitals to visit old folks and so on.  He loves going any where with me.

I'll be going to my class reunion pretty soon now.  In October.  Really looking forward to seeing my old friends.  As one put it - It's been way too long.

Then, in November or December - I'm thinking of going to Cairo.  I need to visit family and finish our flat so that we and the kids have a place of our own to stay when visiting.  With the recent conflict there, it is more difficult to get things done, but not impossible.  I guess we fit right in there - The Egyptian people are so resilient. Hey, maybe one of my old classmates would like to accompany me!!  That would be so much fun.

You never know what life is going to bring.  If someone is at the place in their life like I am - kind of free to do as I please - It might work out just right.  If I did take someone, we'd definitely go to the Red Sea, Sharm El Sheikh.  Nothing like it.  Heaven on earth.  We would have a blast.  So, you just never know.  That's where my philosophy of living to let live works out really well.

Feeling thankful.  Such gratitude for all I've been through and come through to get this far in my healing.  If I can do this, anyone can.

Happy Weekend, Friends ....
