I discovered self love.
Once being sure about the absolute purity of this act, embracing it became natural.
Part of self love is acknowledging the wounded inner child, and doing for her whatever she needs.
She needs to be understood, and to be respected and loved. She needs to feel safe and relaxed - fulfilled and well taken care of.
She needs to be fed good, whole foods and drink.
She needs to have comfort and peace in her person and her surroundings.
Her home needs to be clean, but enjoyed. Her bedroom needs to be soft and full with lush, clean, bedding and lots of wonderful pillows. Good soft lighting is best - and the coolest air possible - fresh and clean. Tons of blankets from which to choose - and windows open in the Winter off and on.
Her clothes need to be many and new and soft, without tags.
Her personal hygiene items need to be organic from coconut and other oils and bees products.
Bathing daily with epsom salts for the absorption of magnesium through the bottoms of her faithful feet.
She needs to have regular manicures and pedicures, and total bodily hair removal.
Walks in sunshine, shopping, time with family, children, grandchildren, pets, trips, and many outings are essential. And always, friends are our chosen family.
Finally, she needs to merge into the adult woman she ultimately is - who understands and is understood... who listens to hear....who respects herself and others.... who speaks to express her voice.... and who chooses the condition she ultimately lives.
She loves, lives, hopes, believes, trusts, gives, needs, wants, chooses, does, doesn't, is, isn't, receives, knows, and always hopes.
The power in her choice erases all fears.
Learned fears, now, lose all power, and the remaining space is filled with confidence and contentment, freedom, and peace.
